The New England Patriots bid adieu to cornerback Leigh Bodden(notes) on Friday, the Boston Herald has confirmed.
ProFootballTalk reported first that Bodden had been let go, and Patriots coach Bill Belichick initially declined comment when asked about it in his Friday media session.
Bodden signed a four-year deal with the Patriots last season, and because the trade deadline has passed, he will be subject to waivers.
